We are a leader in the business of nanotechnology based electron field emission technology. We developed proprietary technologies for high performance electron field emitters, field emission x-ray sources, and new diagnostic x-ray imaging systems. Our nanomaterial based electron field emitters are used today by major display manufacturers for their field emission display development.
Together with our partners at UNC we developed a ground-breaking new x-ray source technology that generates spatially and temporally modulated x-ray radiation. The technology fundamentally changes how x-ray radiation is generated and enables the design of new x-ray imaging systems including CT scanners with enhanced performances and new capabilities. They have now been evaluated for a wide range of applications including medical imaging, preclinical cancer studies and homeland security.
