Dr. Shan Bai, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Bai is the
co-founder of Xintek. Prior to that, she worked as an investment banker JP
Morgan and Union Bank of Switzerland, where she participated in various
financial transactions including IPOs, equity
offerings, debt financing, project financing and mergers & acquisitions.
Before she started her investment banking career, she was an attorney in the
legal department of Leica AG, a Swiss optical
instruments manufacturer. Ms. Bai holds a Ph.D in Law
from the University of Basel, Switzerland and a
Bachelor degree in German Literature from
Dr. Otto Zhou, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Zhou is the
co-founder of Xintek and serves as the Chairman of the Board. He is one of the world leading scientists in
the field of nanotechnology. He holds over 40 granted/pending
Mr. Frank Brown, Vice President, X-ray
Mr. Frank Brown, VP X-ray, is responsible for business development of the x-ray division. He has over twenty years experience in x-ray tube manufacturing, sales and marketing. His previous positions include Marketing Director of Link Analytical, President & CEO of the Link (USA) Analytical Group, President & CEO of Oxford Instruments, X-ray Technology Group. Mr. Frank Brown has a degree in Chemistry and Industrial Processes from a British Polytechnic and specialized in X-ray and Nuclear Instrumentation.
Dr. Jianping Lu, Director of Technology Development
Dr. Jianping Lu,
Director of Technology Development, joined Xintek in 2001 to oversee the
R&D efforts. Beside his responsibility at Xintek, Dr. Lu is also a
Professor of Physics at UNC. He co-invented Xintek’s key x-ray technologies.
Dr. Lu received his Ph.D degree in Physics from the
City University of New York in 1988 and was a Research Associate in the
